UX design
User experience (UX) design is the foundation of any digital product or service.
It dictated the overall experience your users will have when interacting with your offering, from the structure and flow to the design and accessibility. But most importantly, its the process of creating something easy and intuitive to use. UX design informs the majority of our services in one way or another and is often seen as an overarching term for a lot of digital design.
Workshops
Internal workshops are an excellent way to ensure project teams are aligned—both in terms of goals and expectations.
They also help us to gather key insights from stakeholders, managers and colleagues who have practical and intimate knowledge of their own product or service. Moreover, they ensure everyone’s opinion is heard and valued, allowing your team to feel involved in the process and giving a sense of ownership. Internal teams have more at stake than recruited participants, and we find the level of insight and commitment unparalleled.
Information architecture
Information architecture is foundational to a well-designed user experience.
Whether creating a site for a brand new venture or redesigning an existing site with a wealth of information and pages, it is crucial for good UX to go through the process of organising, structuring and labelling content in a way that is intuitive and easy for users to navigate and understand. Information architecture involved many of our other services such as user research, content audits, workshops, card sorting, wire framing, tree testing, and prototyping to ensure the most logical and well-received structure.
Wireframing
The blueprint of design
Wireframing is the digital design equivalent of pencilling something in before committing to ink. It’s an essential step in the UX design process, involving the creation of simple, low-fidelity layouts that map out the structure, content, and functionality of a user interface. These "blueprints" offer a clear framework for the design to build upon.
Focus on structure
Wireframes set the foundation for prototypes by visually outlining where elements like buttons, images, text, and menus will be positioned on the screen. By focusing on layout and function—without the distraction of colours or fonts—wireframing ensures that the user journey is intuitive and seamless from the start.
Prototyping
Prototyping is the process of creating an early, interactive version of a product or system to test its functionality, design, and usability before final development.
It is an iterative process that evolves based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing, getting us closer and closer to a final product.
Interaction design
Interaction Design focuses on creating engaging, usable, and meaningful interactions between users and products. By considering how people interact with systems, it improves the overall user experience and makes products more intuitive and enjoyable to use.
